The Afamefuna Project

The Idea behind this project is to build a repository of and preserving the meaning of Igbo names. This goes beyond the archiving of conventional Igbo names or suggesting baby names. We also seek to understand the onomastics of older names which often make up our surnames. We hope that this becomes a platform you can trust for Igbo names.
